| Description: | The textile industry is studying the fate of metals, specifically copper, in textile effluents. In order to characterize the metals' fate, a study was conducted at numerous wastewater treatment plants assessing influent metals concentrations, effluent metals concentrations and metals concentrations in sludge. Mass balance information was utilized to develop relationships between treatment type and expected metals partitioning. |
